The traditional autumn meeting of representatives of Russian universities of physical culture was held in Sochi on the basis of the complex "Dagomys" in early October. According to the Vice-rector for research and international activities, Professor Firuza Zotova, who this year led a delegation of 11 students of the Volga Academy of sports and tourism, it was warm not only on the street, but also in the soul of the participants. This year, representatives of the physical culture student community from Kazakhstan and Bulgaria joined 14 teams of Russian universities.
The program of the Meeting, organized by the Association of sports universities of Russia, includes intellectual competitions, sports competitions and cultural and creative activities. Despite the fact that the trip to the Rally is an encouragement to its participants for good studies or high sports achievements, the festival program does not give a reason to relax and unwind.
"Our team has been repeatedly noted as the most creative," comments Firuza Zotova. - The General friendly atmosphere, creative ideas, well-organized and held for the Participants of the meeting Sabantuy – all these are our small common achievements. But in the individual competitions of distinguished student Aida Gubadulina, becoming the best speaker of the Meeting and a second-year student of faculty of sport Dmitry Selkov won the title "Mister Convention." Each of the participants contributed. Thanks to Regina Mavlyavieva, Alexander Lokalova, Salavat Galimov, Ilyusa Khabibullina, Ilnur Gilyazova, Zaliya Gabdrahmanova, Lotta Gergert and Ilya Smirnov, the Academy team won the prestigious competition of debate. Despite the fact that our team was the smallest, we did not lose face in any competition Rally. And even media support this time did not disappoint. For the first time, the head of the student media center of the Academy Rumia Yakupova went to the meeting, which daily led Instagram-chronicle of the events of the Meeting. In General, in my opinion, the media nomination is not enough in the program of the gathering of honors, - adds Firuza Zotova. - I would have introduced it".
The main task of the Meeting from year to year is a closer acquaintance and interaction of students of physical education institutions, so that in the future the industry experts were familiar with each other. As for the participants, according to the observations of Professor Firuza Zotova, most of them subsequently occupy leading positions and positions. There are several rectors and Vice-rectors, participants of the meetings of honors students of different years among the active today in physical education universities of Russia. So, for today's excellent students the Meeting is an excellent indicator of success in the future.
