Students of the faculty of service and tourism of the Volga region Academy of sports and tourism celebrated the world tourism Day by holding a traditional fair-festival on October 3.
The theme of the festival long search was not necessary. She was lying on the surface. We all still remember the hot football summer. The football world Cup, which Russia hosted in June-July, is a world-scale event that was eagerly awaited in almost all countries. Hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the world gathered in the host country of the world championship to cheer for their players or just to admire the game of "stars". In the fan zones in each city where the 2018 world Cup matches were held, life was boiling around the clock, thousands of fans together celebrated victories and shared the bitterness of defeats. Many experts after the tournament said that Russia held the best tournament in history. There is no doubt that last summer our country became the tourist center of the planet…
In General, the student Council of the faculty of service and tourism and, in particular, the head of the cultural sector Regina Makhmutova, could not ignore this unique event! The theme of the festival was chosen: "the Countries that hosted the world Cup." Bright costumes, national dishes, creative performances did not leave the audience indifferent. Students colorfully presented such countries as Russia, Mexico, Brazil, USA, France and Germany. Brazil is, of course, a carnival with its fiery dances, Mexico – poncho, sombrero and salsa!  And Russia-pies advertised to the whole world this year kokoshniki, dances and ... volunteers. These people became one of the main symbols of the world championship in Russia. A symbol of cordiality, hospitality and openness to the world of our country.
