On Saturday, September 29 at the Boxing and table tennis Center will be held X all-Russian Taekwondo competitions (VTF) "Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation."
Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation Mr. Wu Yun Gong and President of the Taekwondo Union of Russia Anatoly Terekhov will be honored guests of the competition. In addition to the fights the participants of the tournament fans will see on Saturday and the performance of the demo team world-renowned center Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo athletes which is famous for its breathtaking stunts.
More than 100 strongest athletes from eight Federal districts of Russia will take part in competitions. The national team of Tatarstan in the tournament will represent 10 athletes from Elabuga and Naberezhnye Chelny.
Students of the Volga sports Academy will also perform at the tournament. Freshman Bulat Nigmetzyanov, master of sports in Taekwondo from Kazan, silver medalist of the Russian championship among students.  Nizhnekamets Roman Zaitsev, second-year student, candidate master of sports, champion of the Volga Federal district. Both will defend the colors of the PFD team at the tournament.
