In Volga region Academy of sport hosted the annual intellectual contest "QuestUM" - the first in this academic year, the event organized by the student scientific society of the University.
Participants in the current "QuestUM" freshmen formed in each faculty with three teams. Task of the contest: find 15 clues hidden by the organizers in the building of the educational and laboratory building and use them to reveal the main final riddle. The speed of the routes depended on the ability to think logically, attentiveness, intelligence and, of course, the ability to run fast!
Those who are familiar with the "geography" of the building of the educational and laboratory building, certainly understand how difficult it was for freshmen. Well, during the competition, they fully studied the building, because the "stations" where you can get a fragment, were in different parts of the Academy. That's where attention and ability to notice and remember details were checked. On the maps of the participants were drawn places where the next clue should be. Some" fragments " guys had to look for a very long time.
And some answers the participants received, just doing the job of volunteers. Moreover, some of these buildings were designed for the ability of participants to work in a team. But there were many reasons to laugh during the quest. What is the competition of choral execution of the quatrains of his own composition. Everyone wanted to win, but the three winners included the team "Black and white TV" from the faculty of service and tourism, "Wit" from the same faculty and "Wasabi" from the Department of adaptive physical culture.
- It was very interesting. But to run on floors we were very tired, - one of participants admitted. - From second to eleventh, eleventh to the first and so on... "QuestUM", of course, was for us a good test: find out how well the head. We can say that we made the first small step into science!
