On October 1 in Krasnoyarsk starts the international hockey tournament STUDENT HOCKEY CHALLENGE, the matches of which will be held in the ice Palace "Crystal arena" and the indoor skating rink "Pervomaisky".
8 teams from Russia, USA, Czech Republic and Slovakia will take part in the competition, which is a test in preparation for the XXIX world winter Universiade 2019. Russia at the tournament will be represented by the West team, the East team, the winner of the championship of SKL Barnaul " Dinamo-Altai "and the representative of the Championship of SKL" Power " from Tambov. As part of testing on the eve of the Universiade, Match TV will broadcast live matches on its resources.
Students of the Volga region Academy Airat Valiakhmetov, Aleksey Dmitriev, Dmitry Makarov, Aidar Nizamiev and Aristarkh Volkov will take to the ice in Krasnoyarsk as part of the "SHL West" team.
