25 graduate students became the owners of the title "Best graduate of the Academy" in 2018. Among the achievements of the representatives of the three faculties are successes in educational, research, sports and social activities. The portfolio of participants is full of interesting facts. In addition to the fact that among the applicants under the terms of the competition only holders of diplomas with honors, to win the competition was not to do without merits to the faculty, social status, sports and scientific victories or the title of a scholarship holder. The leader in the race for the title of the best was the faculty of service and tourism-11 students became the owners of the diploma of the winner and the honorary statuette at the ceremony. At the faculty of sports this title was awarded to seven graduates, at the faculty of physical culture – six. The rector of the Volga region Academy Yusup Yakubov presented the deserved awards to the best graduates.

Master Elvira Gumerova (faculty of physical culture) for several years was the Chairman of the scientific student society of the Academy. Her team in 2017 became the owner of the special prize in the nomination "Student scientific organization" of the Republican contest " Student of the year»:
- It's my third degree. First, I graduated from the pedagogical College, in the Academy's bachelor's degree I studied the direction of adaptive physical culture, and I finished the master's program, studying the training of highly qualified athletes in my chosen sport. Gymnasts "experienced" Diana Semenova Anastasia Levitskaya (faculty of sport) has completed training in a magistracy of the Academy. In addition to scientific activity, both graduates have long been in the profession. Diana is a master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics, a member of the national team of Russia and Tatarstan can be proud of the fact that for 6 years of training she has never stayed for a doppression. "Of course, it's not easy," says the athlete, " especially since I have been training in the school of Olympic champion Yulia Barsukova since the second year, and I have been teaching at the Academy for the last year. In addition to the scientific and educational component, my professional life is impossible without participation in scientific conferences, charity festivals, and most importantly, without the organization and judging of the competition." Anastasia Levitskaya has been training since she was 18. The experience gained during this time allows her to share practical observations with colleagues. She wrote 20 scientific articles in two years of her master's degree. Pupils of the young coach do not lag behind the mentor. They have repeatedly become Champions of the Republic, won in national and international tournaments. In addition, young gymnasts are frequent guests of the Academy's creative activities.
