Open Republican tournament of sports aerobics "OPEN TATARSTAN" ended in the Kazan Center of Boxing and table tennis. More than 220 Tatarstan athletes of different ages took part in the tournament. The team of Volga region Academy included students of the faculty of sport Almira Galeeva, Liliya Galiullina, Natalia zavoyski, Alsu Khusnutdinova Idiatullina and Regina. The national team of the Volga region Academy successfully performed in two categories. Girls won in the nomination gymnastic platform (Aero step). Another award of the highest dignity was brought to the team of "academicians" Sergey Shaykhutdinov, becoming the winner in solo performance in men.
Preparing the team for the performance of the teachers of the Department of theory and methodology of gymnastics and wrestling Tatiana Zayachuk and Yekaterina Fonareva. "This tournament was the first for us in the discipline of sports aerobics and very successful, - says Tatiana Zayachuk. - We traditionally participate in fitness aerobics tournaments. Thanks to similar elements, we managed to prepare a program in a month, which the students themselves set and coped with the task."
