110 bachelors and 39 masters of the Institute of Distance Education of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism received their diplomas today. Rector of the university Rafis Burganov and Director of the Institute Oleg Solomakhin handed over the educational documents.
Graduates of the Institute - representatives of 41 regions of Russia were trained in different areas of training: bachelors in physical culture and adaptive physical culture, masters - physical culture, adaptive physical culture and sport.
Welcoming the newly graduated specialists, the rector of the university Rafis Burganov noted that everyone who received education is worthy of respect, as it is a great labour.
"We hand diplomas, but we do not say goodbye to you, because education is a continuous process. Time does not stand still, there are constantly new technologies, new techniques both in education and in life. Everything happens quickly, rapidly," the rector emphasised.
Words of gratitude to the university administration and native teachers on behalf of all graduates were expressed by Master's degree graduate Airat Shakirov.
"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your labours, for your efforts, for teaching us a lot of things, bringing them to us - it's all priceless. We regret only one thing: that this time flew by imperceptibly. All this will be missed. Unfortunately, time is merciless and there is no stopping it. It seems that we just had entrance exams, the first session, the first difficulties... We had no time to raise our heads, but we are already sitting with diplomas in our hands, and this is a big labour-intensive work, which we will never forget. We will return to these walls - nobody cancelled postgraduate studies. Thank you very much, thank you very much!", said the happy graduate cheerfully.
