Alsu Zheltyakova, Director of Povolzhsky University College, became a prize-winner of the All-Russian contest ‘Flagships of Education’ - as an education manager she took the third place in the regional stage and entered the top three finalists.
The Flagship of Education competition is organised by the Presidential Platform ‘Russia - a Country of Opportunities’ and is aimed at supporting the professional development of education managers, teachers and students.
In the regional semi-final of the competition 30 teachers and education managers met - they scored the highest points in the distance stage. And only three best participants from each region made it to the final, which will be held in Moscow.
‘Competitive tests in the semi-final were held both in team and individual format - during two days the participants showed themselves as versatile specialists in the field of education. We participated in master-classes, held round tables and discussions, wrote essays, defended projects,’ said Alsu Zheltyakova. - It was interesting to participate in the competition - I gained new experience and communicated with professionals.
