Badminton players from Volga Region University won silver at the national team championship

Silver medals at the Russian team badminton championship were won by students and graduates of the Volga Region University.

Thirteen national teams of the country's constituent entities gathered at the Borisoglebsky sports complex in Ramenskoye.
Representatives of the University of Sports and Tourism played for the Tatarstan national team.

The republic's team reached the final stage, where they met with badminton players from Moscow.
In singles, Tatarstan athletes Sergey Sirant (12:21, 21:17, 21:16) and Kristina Lipovskaya (10:21, 21:9, 21:19) celebrated their victory.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to beat the Muscovites in doubles. As a result, 2:3 in favor of the capital's badminton players.
The Tatarstan team also included Ivan Gushchin, Pavel Monich, Nikita Muleyev, Ilyas Khayriev, Regina Galiakhmetova, Regina Galieva, Evgenia Kosetskaya, Maria Malygina, Anastasia Redkina and Alina Romanko.

Teams from the Moscow region and the Republic of Bashkortostan received bronze medals.
