For the first year of study at the university, Belov became the silver medalist of the All-Russian competitions among students and successfully performed at other competitions.

"The fulfilment of the standards that allow you to receive the title of Master of Sports of Russia once again confirms that it is possible to develop in sport and study at our university. Although it is not an easy task that requires organisation and discipline skills," admits Lyubov Botova, Head of the Department of Gymnastics Theory and Methodology. - We try to break the stereotype that artistic gymnastics is a young sport and, allegedly, at university everyone stops training. And our new masters of sport confirm it, continuing to train. Now, for example, the 4th year student Isayev Stanislav, the 3rd year student Nikita Andronov are preparing for the upcoming Cup of Russia, the second year student Yulia Nikolaeva and the third year student Nikita Andronov are included in the national team, our other students continue their sporting path".
