A student of the Volga Region University, Denis Bykov, won two awards – gold in the team competition and bronze in the individual among the “pros” – at the All-Russian breaking competition “BREAK RUMBLE KAZAN”.

Denis has been breaking for ten years, he has participated in competitions at the federal and international levels, won prizes and collected a huge amount of battles, judging and master classes.

Also, Denis Bykov, performing under the pseudonym b-boy White Diamond, won a team competition as part of the international team Nothing To Lose and entered the top 4 best b-boys in the individual competition at the international breaking festival EVN Challenge, which was held in the capital of Armenia . EVN Challenge is an international event with judges from the USA, France, South Korea and many other countries. Among the participants are representatives of Iran, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, and Georgia.

‘The preparation for all tournaments is the same - practising personal material to be shown on the dance floor, creating my own moves and developing a strategy for battles. At the competition in Kazan, I felt joy not so much from winning as from performing together with a team of friends. They are record holders and world stars of the breaking scene. I liked the team atmosphere and the spirit to win, thanks to which we got the first place. In Armenia I remembered the nature and culture of the country in general - it was one of my first trips abroad and I was very impressed,’ Denis Bykov shared.
