Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin opened a physical center in Kazan, which is located in the Universiade Athletes’ Village. A TASS correspondent reports this from the scene.

Matytsin and Chernyshenko pressed the joystick button together, after which they were guided through the new phygital center.

“The phygital movement operates everywhere; representations of the movement have already been opened in 63 countries around the world,” said Chernyshenko. “It is very symbolic that a phygital center has been created at the Volga State University, where people will develop more harmoniously in all directions. Centers like this provide such an opportunity."

“First of all, I am glad that the Volga State University has become one of the venues for the Games of the Future. This is a contribution to the future. Students have the opportunity to play sports. We said that maybe other universities should also engage in sports here. Naturally, the Ministry of Sports will develop [ fidzhital] in subordinate universities,” Matytsin noted.
