For the second year in a row, the Volga Region State University of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, the only one among Russian sports universities, takes part in the Federal Internet Exam for Bachelor's degree graduates - an independent certification of Bachelor's degree graduates for compliance with the requirements of FSES HE.
In January 2024, the University received the status of a base site for the federal exam in the Republic of Tatarstan in two areas of training: 43.03.01 Service and 44.03.01 Pedagogical Education.
Students underwent intensive training under the guidance of the heads of educational programmes of the departments of service and tourism, pedagogy and psychology in the field of physical culture and sports on basic professional disciplines in simulators of the Internet exam: students solved cases, tasks on situational analysis and tests on types of professional activities.
Personal certificates (gold, silver, bronze), which students can receive after passing the federal exam, give them an advantage when passing the state final certification, when entering a master's programme, and when finding a job as a confirmation of the quality of graduate training.
According to Venera Sultanova, Head of the Department of Education Quality Management, thanks to the participation of university students in the Federal Internet examination for bachelor's degree graduates in 2023, the university improved its position in the National Aggregate Rating.
