Today Rafis Burganov, Rector of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, Khalil Shaikhutdinov, Deputy Minister of Sports of Tatarstan, and Gulnara Sergeeva, Head of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation of Tatarstan, presented a new head to the staff of the Gymnastics Centre. Natalia Alkaeva, Director of the Comprehensive Sports School of the Volga Region University, became the new Head of the Centre. The previous head of the Gymnastics Centre Farid Akhmadullin is moving to the sports department of the University.

Natalia Ivanovna Alkaeva graduated from Kazan State Pedagogical University in 1998. In 2016, she underwent professional retraining in the direction of "Management".

In different years she worked as a teacher, methodologist, deputy director of Almetyevsk Vocational College, deputy director for innovations and methodological work of Kazan Technical School of Surface and Underground Electric Transport, deputy director of the Republican Centre for Physical Culture and Youth Sports of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputy director of the Kazan Olympic Reserve School, head of the sector of training of sports reserve of the Ministry of Sports of Tatarstan, and since February, she has been working as a teacher, methodologist, deputy director of the Kazan Technical School of Surface and Underground Electric Transport, deputy director of the Republican Centre for Physical Culture and Youth Sports of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan.

She was awarded the sign "Excellent Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan" and the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan.
