Rector of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov is taking part in the All-Russian Forum "National Qualifications System of Russia", which is taking place these days in St. Petersburg. The event is designed to form an effective interaction between the government, entrepreneurs and society in the context of employment market development. This year the forum invited heads of federal and regional authorities, educational institutions, industrial enterprises of the country and other organisations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the forum participants, noting that direct communication on the issues of strengthening the country's human resources potential sets guidelines for young people, the relevant telegram was published on the Kremlin website.
"I note that over the past years your expert platform has built an effective dialogue between the state, business, educational and trade union organisations on strengthening the country's human resources potential. Such direct communication, which is based on the current demands of industries, the needs of enterprises and companies in specialists, promotes modern educational standards, improves the quality of professional training, improves the employment structure and, of course, sets guidelines for young people: what knowledge, skills, abilities a person should have to succeed in his chosen business," the telegram reads.
The Russian President also expressed hope that this meeting will form initiatives that will find application in practice and will serve the growth of labour productivity in the national economy and social sphere.
