I am confident that you will continue to make a significant contribution to solving the most important problems for the country, for our entire society, in strengthening our sovereign education system,” - with these words, the President of the country, Vladimir Putin, congratulated the Russian Academy of Education on its 80th anniversary today.
Ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Education, the successor to the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, are being held in Moscow with the support of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education.
In the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, this large-scale event brought together more than 200 leading scientists working in the field of pedagogy, psychology and developmental physiology, as well as famous cultural and artistic figures, representatives of legislative and executive authorities. The events are attended by the rector of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov and the vice-rector for scientific work and international activities of the university Andrei Nazarenko.
The event is dedicated to the role of the Academy in historical retrospect and the strategy for its future development. As part of the event, ceremonial awards were held, unique archival materials and a cultural program were presented.
