Employees of the Testing Center “Ready for Labor and Defense” of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Ruzal Khairullin and Elena Nikolaeva visited Kindergarten No. 24 in Kazan and introduced children to the profession of a coach. As part of the event, preschool children were told about the features of the profession, and a “Fun Start” was held.

As the head of the preschool educational institution, Aigul Mardanova, said, such meetings play an important role in the development of children.

“For the second year now, we and the Volga Region University of Sports have been holding joint events. Last year, with the support of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Football and Hockey, we held an event dedicated to All-Russian Football Day. This year the event was held as part of our career guidance program dedicated to professions with the support of the University Testing Center.

Carrying out such events at every age stage of the child is an important task. When accomplished specialists come to meetings with children and answer all their questions with sparkling eyes, children develop a greater understanding of the intricacies of the profession, and information is consolidated at the emotional level. As a result, someone will want to become a doctor, and someone will want to become an athlete,” the head of the kindergarten emphasized.

As Gulfiya Gabdulkhaerova, head of the Testing Center, said, playing sports is the main source of a healthy body, therefore the standards of the GTO complex need to be implemented from an early age, which will increase the overall level of health and sports training in children, holding such sports events with elements of the GTO, our growing the generation will continue to play sports.
