The scholarship of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan for the autumn-winter semester was awarded to Yulia Smolina, a 1st year Master's student.

Yulia submitted her work "Lifestyle correction and prevention of abdominal obesity on the basis of bioimpedance analysis of body composition components" in the direction of "Environmental situation and public health in the Republic of Tatarstan".

The work is devoted to the development of a lifestyle correction programme for students of a sports university aimed at preventing the development of anxiety, depression and abdominal obesity using bioimpedance analysis and psychological tests.

Scientific supervisor - Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines Elmira Shamsuvaleeva.
