The Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science implements a programme of youth and student tourism. This is an opportunity for students, postgraduates and young specialists to travel around the country, staying in the hostels of universities and getting acquainted with their educational and scientific potential.
More than 220 universities are participating in the programme. Until September 2024, the programme will hold six unique competitions for students and young people in a distance format.
Based on the results of each of them, the winners will be awarded with travel certificates from the general partner - Rosmolodezh's programme ‘More than a Trip’.
The aim of organising the competitions is to make travel more accessible to young people and to involve them in research, civic and patriotic and creative activities.
The series of competitions is open to students or young professionals aged 18 to 35 working in Russia.
