Representatives of the University Student Council and Chulpan Galieva, Head of the Social and Educational Work Department, visited servicemen undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Military Hospital of the Russian Ministry of Defence in Kazan.
The students handed letters of support to the soldiers. Together with a senior nurse they walked through the hospital wards, greeted the soldiers and handed them more than 70 letters of gratitude and support from students of institutes and colleges of Volga Region University.
It should be noted that students of the University of Sport and Tourism have been participating in the All-Russian action "Letters to Soldiers" since 2022, sending letters to the front. This time the representatives of the student council decided to deliver their messages personally into the hands of the defenders of the Motherland.
A visit to the Military Hospital evokes the strongest feelings," said Chulpan Galiyeva. - Meeting and communicating with the defenders who returned from the front line leaves an indelible trace in the soul. It is very important that our students were able to pass on their letters and meet their addressees in person.
The head of the department for social and educational work of the university thanked the administration and staff of the hospital for the opportunity to personally hand over the letters to the soldiers.
