The academic year has just begun, but our students are already pleasing with their worthy performance. The Tulpar sports complex in Kazan hosted the championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in acrobatic rock 'n' roll. Athletes competed in seventeen disciplines, students of the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism won awards in two of them.
Yana Batmanova and Syumbel Yusupova made a golden double in the disciplines "Women's Formation" and "D Duet".
Also in the discipline "D Duet" a full set of medals was collected by third-year students of the university. Alexey Vakhrushev became the winner in his category, Lyudmila Moiseeva took the silver award, Kira Nazarova closed the top three.
In addition, Gulnaz Arslanova and Alina Mingazova made it to the top 5 - they took fourth and fifth places respectively.
"It was the first start of the season.
