The final of the V All-Russian competition of pedagogical initiatives “Counselors of Russia” took place in Yekaterinburg. The theme of the competition, which was held at the Ural State Pedagogical University, was “Board Games Workshop”.
Since last spring, students from all over Russia have participated in the correspondence program “Counselors of Russia,” developing board games for children and youth. The authors of the most interesting ideas were invited to the final part.
Among the finalists are representatives of the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism - third-year student of the International Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism Maxim Budnikov and first-year students of the Institute of Sports Elizaveta Melnikova and Elizaveta Murzina. The guys presented the board game “Geographical Walkers,” which introduces the history of Russia through interesting facts about the country’s cities.
Young people defended their work and also took part in all events of the “Counselors of Russia” program, in which experts from the Sverdlovsk region, Novosibirsk and Moscow acted as experts.
“It was useful to go on excursions to the Ural Pedagogical University, to the local technology park of pedagogical competencies “Teacher of the Future Generation of Russia”, listen to lectures and master classes from the organizers. I especially liked the lesson on the prevention of psychological health, the students shared their impressions. — It is important for young people to be able to take care of their well-being in order to conduct their educational, creative, social, and sports activities well. This requires a responsible attitude towards your time and life in general, which was discussed at the master class.”
