University students learned how to become part of the Kazan team

Students of sports management visited the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of the Executive Committee of Kazan. It should be reminded that since February they have been undergoing familiarization practice under the guidance of the Department of Economics and Management in Sport. The orientation program includes excursions to sports organizations and lectures from experts. 

- Rishat Ibatullin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, gave a tour of the committee. He told about the major sporting events held in Kazan, introduced the structure of the organization and the job descriptions of employees. The guys learned about employment and further career development both in the committee itself and in the subordinate organizations: sports schools and training facilities. The students also visited the Central Stadium,” said Dinara Nasibullina, a lecturer at the Department of Economics and Management in Sport.

During the meeting, the students of the University of Sport actively asked questions, most of all they were interested in the opportunity to help organize major sporting events, such as the Kazan Marathon. They also learned about how the Committee attracts the city residents to physical training and sports with the help of the project “Sport in the Yard”. At the end of the tour the children met Linar Garipov, Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports.

As Dinara Nasibullina noted, the uniqueness of the tour is that being students, the guys can meet the heads of sports schools and training facilities, help organize events and become part of the Kazan team.

- Thanks to communication with high-ranking officials I learned about the development of the sports industry in Kazan. What interested me most was the opportunity to meet experts who would help me gain new knowledge and skills in organizing sporting events. We also discussed youth projects with the management of the committee - I especially remembered the training camps for child athletes, where you can get practical training,” said student Valeria Novichkova.
