11 young athletes from the United Arab Emirates underwent medical examinations at the medical unit of the Research Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of the Volga Region University. The young swimmers are in Kazan for a training camp.
The examination was initiated by representatives of the Kazan International Institute for Cooperation with Africa and the Middle East, who have already brought athletes to the capital of the republic for the first time to improve their sports skills.
According to Rustam Yakubov - deputy head of the medical and sanitary unit, the comprehensive examination will allow to determine the state of health and the level of functional training of athletes.
"Medical examination will make it possible to exclude pathological changes in the organism, detect maladaptation to physical load at early stages and adjust the training process in time to achieve better sports results", - explained Rustam Yakubov.
