The Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism has passed the licensing for the right to conduct educational activities of the higher education programme - the programme of training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate studies in the scientific specialty 5.2.3. Regional and Sectoral Economics.
The areas and sphere of professional activity of the students who have mastered the postgraduate programme in this scientific specialty will be:
- regional and branch economics (in the spheres: regional economics, economics of the sphere of services, economics of innovations, economics of nature management, marketing, standardisation and quality management of products, economic security);
- education and science (in the sphere of scientific research).
Types of professional activities for which graduates who have mastered this programme will need to be prepared:
- research activity in the field of regional and sectoral economics;
- teaching activities under educational programmes of higher education.
Graduates of postgraduate studies will be able to work in organisations and institutions of all types of ownership, general educational organisations, professional educational organisations, educational organisations of higher education, organisations of additional education and additional professional education.
