The work of three graduates of the Department of Theory and Methods of Gymnastics of the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism was celebrated on the Day of the Athlete.
Honorary diplomas of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Kazan, as the most promising coaches, were received by this year's graduate of the master's program, coach of the Privolzhanka School of Sports of the FSO Idel, Ilnara Akhunova, a bachelor's degree graduate of last year, a master's student, coach of the Triumph sports school of the FSO Aviator » Daria Mayorova (both masters of sports of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics) and a 2021 bachelor’s degree graduate, coach of the Triumph sports school of the FSO Aviator, candidate master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Safina.
As Lyubov Botova, Head of the Department of Gymnastics Theory and Methodology, admitted, it is very pleasant that the graduates of the department actively show themselves in coaching activities, realise the acquired knowledge and skills in the professional environment.
"The profession of a coach-teacher is a very hard work, requiring knowledge in a huge number of areas and unconditional love for pupils, - says Lyubov Botova. - It is important to realise that a coach has no right to make a mistake, especially when it comes to the youngest children who are brought to do gymnastics. The coach plays a big role in the life of athletes, he educates the personality, supports the pupils, goes through fire, water and copper pipes together with the pupil and at the same time often remains in the shadow. I wish the graduates always go forward and rejoice in the achievements of their pupils".
