The Super Final of the Student Basketball Association will be held on 18-20 May in St. Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. The Jubilee Sports Complex will bring together the best teams from the country that qualified for the Last-32, Last-16 and Last-8 of the Belov League.
Eight men's teams and eight women's teams will fight for the main trophy of the season.
The cheerleading group "Besties" went to conquer St. Petersburg! The girls went through a competitive selection process, which included introducing the team in a video and taking time out with the dance they presented. Six cheerleaders will also compete for the right to perform at the final game. In addition to the dance time-outs, the teams will compete in an introduction and walk out on the court, a cheerleading captains' competition and a general flash mob.
"It was very difficult at first," shared the team captain, third-year student Lyaysan Vafina. - I just became a coach, and immediately I had to change, complicate many of the dances and, of course, learn new ones. Training sessions were long, three to four hours at a time, and on the final days we left the university late at night. We are 100% charged up, the most important thing is not to drop out in the first few days, and then everything will run its course.
