The order to award the honorary sports title - Honored Master of Sports of Russia was immediately received by two students of the Volga Region University - a first-year undergraduate Alexei Abramov, representing the country in belt wrestling competitions under the leadership of Gabdyzhalil and Bari Suleymanov, and a third-year student Galina Medvedeva, demonstrating brilliant results in taekwondo with mentorship of Alexei Kaplev.
The Ministry of Sports noted the high achievements of Alexei and Galina at federal and international competitions, where they repeatedly became winners and prize-winners.
