Invited speaker of the practical lesson of the direction of study “Advertising and public relations. Copywriting and brand communications” of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of KFU became the head of the photo service of the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism Pavel Zheleznyakov.
An employee of a sports university shared his experience of working as a journalist in print and online publications, press secretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan and a specialist in press centers of such major international competitions as the 2013 World Universiade and the 2015 World Aquatics Championship. Separately, he stopped at work as a photographer, including within the framework of the Volga University.
“I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of topics that interested the guys,” admitted the head of the university's photo service. - Thanks to the questions, I probably remembered all my jobs related to journalism - from a sports correspondent to the head of the press service of the ministry. I especially liked the fact that the guys asked questions not for show, but rather serious ones. For example, there was a question about what comes first: a word or a photo, or what are the prospects for the development of photojournalism. Well, and, of course, we talked a lot about modern journalism, social networks, their prospects and the realities of today's PR people.
