These days (October 27-28) young scientists from Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism are taking part in the All-Russian Research and Practice Conference 'Sport of the Future' in Sochi. The university is represented by Elena Tarasova, Pavel Galanov, Alena Volozhanina, Dmitry Goncharenko, Rimma Rendikova and Aigul Shakirova.
The conference became a platform for activating research and educational initiatives related to new sports formats, discussing safety issues and necessary limitations in new sports, and developing and testing new sports technologies. Specifically, the subjects of the conference include new sports disciplines in the system of international sports movement, education and research activities in the field of digital sports, youth and student competitions in new sports and legal norms, safety and regulatory mechanisms of sports disciplines of the future.
The conference is attended by students of Russian universities, young scientists and specialists with basic knowledge in the direction of the conference topics and work.
The conference is organised by the Sirius University of Science and Technology.
