On September 17th the Rowing Centre of the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism will host the Tatarstan Rowing and Canoeing Championship in memory of the Merited Coach of the RSFSR Nikolay S. Teterkin.
The purpose of the Championship is to popularize the Olympic rowing and canoeing sport, as well as to reveal the strongest athletes in the Republic of Tatarstan. Rowing competitions among groups of enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held during the event with the support of the Regional Sports Public Organization "Rowing and Canoeing Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan" in dragonboats "Zilant's Cup".
Rowing on boats "Dragon" creates conditions for attracting people of all ages to engage in physical activity and involvement in healthy lifestyles. Participation in these competitions forms a team spirit, where one person understands his responsibility for the result of the whole team.
