This time we will tell you that the Ministry of Finance of Russia has prepared changes to the Tax code. They relate to the introduction of a tax deduction for physical education and sports.
This is another social deduction related to the return of part of the income tax paid by working citizens (along with social deductions for education and medical treatment).
If the amendments come into force, from January 2021, Russians will be able to return more than 15.6 thousand rubles. This is 13% of the maximum amount set for this type of tax deduction of 120 thousand rubles spent on sports and recreation services for the year. The measure is designed to motivate residents of the country to play sports.
