At the personal badminton championship of Russia, which ended in Gatchina, Evgenia Kosetskaya, a master's student of the Volga sports Academy, confirmed the status of the leader of the national ranking by winning the tournament. In the final she did not leave chances to the rival, the Muscovite Anastasia Shapovalova (21:7, 21:19).
In the men's singles final, "academician" Sergey Sirant, alas, lost to Vladimir Malkov in a stubborn fight of three games (21:18, 20:22, 15:21).
In the title match of the women's steam Academy introduced a graduate of the University of Victoria Vorobyov, acting in tandem with the bronze medalist of the Olympic games Nina Volovoi. But her rival, Olga Morozova and Anastasia Akchurina, was stronger (21-11 21-15), Vorobyova and Volovoi got "silver".  
"Bronze" of the championship bringing home "academics" Amir Khamidullin, in the semifinals, losing champion Vladimir Malkov, and Anastasia Redkina, in the doubles semi-final with Olga Ivashchenko, who lost the championship tandem Morozova and accuring.
