From 14 to 16 December in the Moscow region held the final stage of the I all-Russian student games of martial arts. Competitions were held in five types of martial arts: Aikido, karate, kickboxing, Sambo and Thai Boxing.
The Republic of Tatarstan in the section of kickboxing was represented by second-year students of the Volga state Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism, who won the qualifying competitions of the all-Russian student games of martial arts of the Volga Federal district, held in October 2018 in Kazan.
In the first all-Russian student games 1st place in the section K1 took Mamadzhanov Munir, 2nd place in the section light contact Sayapov Artem. The third place in the light contact section was won by Tsarev Maxim. Their coach-honored master of sports of Russia, multiple world champion, senior lecturer of the Volga state Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism Saifullin Ilnaz irekovich.
In January, the guys will prepare for the Russian championship among students, which will be held in Omsk from January 31 to February 3, 2019. These competitions will be a selection for the European student sports Association eUSA championship, which will be held in Zagreb in the summer of 2019.
