International children's games for Olympic Champions prizes will be held in Kazan from 6 to 8 December. For the second time, sports facilities of the Volga region Academy of sports will host competitions for the Aleksander Popov Cup. His team this year will include Olympic Champions Aleksander Karelin (Greco-Roman wrestling), Igor Lavrov (handball), Dariya Shkurikhina (rhythmic gymnastics), Aleksander Legkov (cross-country skiing) and Svetlana Romashina (synchronized swimming). Each of them will hold for children not only a master class in their sport, but also competitions that will be held at the facilities of the Volga Academy (training building, athletics stadium and swimming pool of the training and sports complex "Burevestnik, gymnastics Center). In General, the tournaments organized by the Aleksander Popov Academy will bring together more than 1600 children from 60 regions of Russia, as well as CIS countries and Europe (Germany, Estonia, Serbia and others) in Kazan. For the first time in the competition will be a place for ceremonies, recreation and communication with the Olympic Champions in a festive atmosphere – the Cup House. It will be located in the educational building of the Volga Academy. Also for the first time live broadcasts of children's competitions will show the TV channel "Match TV".
