The winners of the home final stage of the Russian para-badminton Cup, held from 18 to 20 November at one of the objects of the Volga Academy, in the center of badminton, were students of the University Oleg Dontsov and Pavel Kulikov. 69 athletes from 16 regions of the country took part in competitions in six sports classes.
Fourth-year student Dontsov and freshman Kulikov took first place in the men's doubles in the group SL 4 – SU 5 ("standing" athletes).  In singles "gold" was won by Pavel Kulikov (Kazan), having pressed from the top step of a pedestal of the acting champion of Russia Oleg Dontsov. In an asset of the athlete also the champion title in the mixed doubles with Natalya Yaremchuk (St. Petersburg). The silver prize-winner in the men's singles was Oleg Dontsov. In the mixed doubles, our athlete, acting together with Ekaterina Oginskaya (Pskov region), also became the second.
Following the results of three stages Oleg Dontsov became the winner of the Cup of Russia in the men's singles, the second – Pavel Kulikov. Also, the athletes were the first in the men's doubles in the amount of points scored. In the mixed doubles " gold "Pavel Kulikov," silver " Oleg Dontsov.
Earlier Kulikov and Dontsov won three bronze medals at the European championship in para-badminton in France. Dontsov became the third in men's singles and-together with Kulikov-in doubles, the press service of the badminton Federation of the RT.
