Sport Connect continues to expand its geography: this time the forum reached the capital of one of the most sporting regions of Russia. The event, organized by Interros Group, electronic newspaper "BUSINESS Online" and Volga state Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism will be held on November 16.


The forum will bring together sports managers from all over the Volga region, as well as representatives of the largest sports facilities and organizations of Tatarstan. The theme of the forum: "working with the audience at the stadium and beyond." The speakers at Kazan Sport Connect will be marketers from European football top leagues and managers of Russia's leading sports clubs.


The first session will be opened by Daniel Serehido-the official representative of La Liga in Russia, who will explain at what point and why La Liga considered itself not just a championship, but a media company, why it needs Africa, the USA and China and why La Liga is so seriously interested in the Russian market. After the Spaniard, marketers of two leading hockey brands of Russia – Kazan "AK Bars" and St. Petersburg SKA will speak, who will talk about the most striking cases of working with the audience. The session will be closed by a representative of the squash Federation, whose speech will be devoted to how to turn a niche sport into a mass one.


At the end of the first session, a seminar is planned with the participation of the Director of marketing and development, as well as the head of the marketing Department of the Khimki basketball club. Vasily Korshkov and Alexey Dudnik will tell you how to successfully work with fans and regularly collect full houses, even when your team is forced to play in two cities (home matches of the Euroleague Khimki are held in Mytishchi, and games of the VTB United League are held in the native Khimki Palace).


In the afternoon session, we will talk about increasing the commercial attractiveness of brands. Here are the representatives of two of some of the most dynamic and exciting Spanish football clubs - real Betis balompié and "Eibar". Another speaker of the session will be the project Director of the Department of events Lahti Jesse Kiuru, who will tell how the 100-thousandth Finnish city is developing thanks to sports and takes about 100 different events a year on the territory of its sports complex. At the end of the second session, the Rector of the Volga Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism Yusup Yakubov will speak.
