The Volga region Academy of sports together with the Russian Union of martial arts and sports federations of the Republic on seven types of single combats, will hold the all-Russian student games of martial arts (the Volga region stage).
On the basis of sports facilities of the University will be held not only competitions in popular among young people areas (Aikido, all-round karate, kickboxing, Kyokushin, Sambo, Thai Boxing and Taekwondo-VTF), but also master classes, demonstrations, as well as a round table, the theme of which will be the development of martial arts among students and attract fans. Applications for participation in the Games can be sent through the regional federations for the declared types of martial arts until October 16, 2018.
