Today, the educational and laboratory building of the Volga region Academy of physical culture and sports held a presentation of the program "city volunteers". The program of the event included presentation and tasting of food and demonstration of official equipment of city volunteers. The first saw the equipment and got acquainted with the volunteer menu of 100 volunteers and activists of the movement "Kazan Volunteers".
Let us remind that the program "City volunteers" provides assistance and provision of various services to fans, while "Volunteers of the organizing Committee" are involved in all processes related to the organization of the tournament.
The campaign to recruit volunteers for the 2017 Confederations Cup and 2018 world Cup was held from September 20, 2016 to April 30, 2018.  More than 3000 people applied for participation in the program "City volunteers", from which 1000 lucky people were selected. In April-may in the volunteer center, based in the Volga region Academy, passed their training.  
In the days of the world Championships in Kazan, 120 students of Volga region Academy will work on the world Cup 2018 objects in the framework of the program "Volunteers of the organizing Committee", and 43 "academics" have to work hard in the framework of the "City volunteers".
