After the Christmas holidays resumed the championship of Russia among commands of the higher League A.
"Academy-Kazan" held two away games on the court leader of the team "the locomotive-the Emerald" from Ekaterinburg. Having lost the first game, they managed to impose struggle in the second match, won two sets and lost only in the final 2:3. In the end they took one point from the team which lost twice in the first round. This failure of Yekaterinburg led to the fact that the team's closer pursuers from Chelyabinsk.
