On 28 February, college students of Volga Region University had an opportunity to talk to the 2004 Olympic rowing champion Igor Kravtsov. The students were interested in both career details and the guest's life outside of sport. "You should definitely read, at different stages of life you can understand the work in a whole new way," shares Igor Kravtsov's opinion. - "During my sporting career I read 'Eugene Onegin'. It would seem to be a school programme, but what you read as an adult is perceived differently".

Speaking to the students, Kravtsov emphasised the role of a coach in an athlete's life. The athlete did not give an unambiguous answer to the question of what management style is best suited for a coach. For work in high-performance sports, the Olympic champion chooses an authoritarian style, while for work with children he emphasises the importance of an individual approach.

At the end of the meeting, the athlete wished the students health and self-love: "Without taking care of oneself a person will not be able to show love to others. To love oneself is to give oneself no slack, to respect one's own labour".
