College students of Volga Region University conquer new heights - this time they won the military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” and entered the republican stage. 14 teams from colleges of Kazan competed for the title of the strongest. The competition was held at the Kazan Higher Tank Command Red Banner School.
Last week the boys also became leaders of the military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa” among the colleges of Kazan.
- The whole college staff chose the students who would be members of the team. It is not so simple - after all, each participant has a different role: commander, political officer, military officer, doctor, sapper engineer, attack pilot, and drone operator. After careful selection, we were able to form a team of ten people, and two are in reserve. They are always ready to replace any participant at the necessary moment and take their role,” emphasized the college director Alsu Zheltyakova.
She also said that the training of the participants is in conjunction with the Warrior Center, where the current sophomores were trained in an additional program as recently as last year.
- “Zarnitsa 2.0” is an exciting experience that leaves a lot of impressions. The game combines elements of strategy, teamwork and military tactics, which makes it unique. Especially memorable is the feeling of unity with the team, when you manage to jointly cope with the task at hand and overcome obstacles. Each player can contribute to the victory - the sense of importance of their role in the common cause is truly inspiring. This competition is not just a game, but an opportunity to test myself in conditions close to real combat operations, as well as to develop leadership and teamwork skills, - shared the impressions of student Sofia Zhukova.
Now the guys are actively preparing for the republican spartakiade on military-applied sports “Ravnenie na victorie”, as well as for the regional stage of the military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa”, which will be held in mid-May.
