Angelina Zaripova, afirst-year student of Volga Region University, is a master of sports in swimming for persons with disabilities. She will talk about her professional experience and her impressions of entering the university inthe column ‘Sport of unlimited possibilities’ in Dzen.
At first swimming was part of rehabilitation, and then it became a professional activity. Now I participate in major competitions, such as national championships, the Russian Championship and Cup and others.
In swimming for people with disabilities, athletes are divided into ten classes depending on the degree of musculoskeletal impairment.
I want to become an adaptive swimming coach, so I decided to develop in the field of sport.
