A delegation of sports medicine physicians from the Republic of Sakha-Yakutia visited the medical unit of the Volga Region University Institute of Physical Culture and Sports this week. Lydia Argunova, chief physician of the Centre for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Sports Training Centre for National Teams of the Republic of Sakha Yakutia, led the group of colleagues.
According to Andrey Nazarenko, Pro-Rector for Research and International Activities of Volga Region University, the guests had a chance to see all diagnostic and rehabilitation facilities of our university, share their work experience and learn new advanced technologies of current medical examination of athletes.
"Our colleagues attended lectures for doctors undergoing post-graduate training in physical therapy and sports medicine at the medical unit," said Andrey Nazarenko. - Sports medicine doctors from the Republic of Sakha Yakutia were very pleased with the results of the business trip, exchange of experience and gaining knowledge on sports medicine and rehabilitation in the Republic of Tatarstan.
