Anna Chernysheva, a student of Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism, won the Russian Karate Cup in Nizhny Novgorod. About 300 participants from 29 regions of our country took part in the tournament. Among them were international class masters of sports, multiple champions of Russia, Europe and international competitions.
There were three disciplines at the Cup: kata - technique competition, kumite - bouts in weight categories and kata group - team technique competition. Anna, defeating athletes from Tatarstan, Oryol and St. Petersburg, became the champion in the weight category of 55 kg.
