The five-day marathon of students settling into their dormitories came to an end. Students settled back into their comfortable rooms, met with friends, exchanged impressions of the past summer. And freshmen just now have to feel the atmosphere of student life, so independent, new... and sometimes complicated and confusing.

And behind the complex and unclear there is always something interesting and attractive. New horizons undoubtedly conquer our recruits, especially when there is a number of experienced seniors, who have already passed this difficult path and know all the "tricks" of teaching at our university.

After settling in we had traditional meetings, where tutors introduced their charges, created communication in the future group, conducted team building games and gave such necessary advice.

Alsu Vagizova, a first-year student of Recreation and Sports and Health Tourism, shared her first impressions after checking in:

"The check-in procedure was very fast, which surprised me, because I was expecting a situation of chaos and mad lines. Guys from senior courses accompanied us at every step, helped us to deal with documents and sometimes defused the situation, so there was no anxiety. I really like the Universiade Village, it has a nice atmosphere on the whole territory, the hostel and the rooms are comfortable. I think this year will be very quick and eventful. A lot of student associations and activities, I want to take part in everything, so that this start year will be a memorable one. Life in the dormitory is not easy, but there is a high point in it. It's a very valuable experience of independent living."

Indeed, this year the move-in procedure was quicker. The organizers intelligently divided the people who moved in by days and hours, so that it did not create a crowd and disorder. It is also worth noting the prompt work of the volunteers - university activists, the guys accompanied our students throughout the process and helped with the registration of all necessary certificates and documents.

And how did the senior students, future graduates of the baccalaureate, move in? This was told to us by the future sports manager Fanis Khabibullin. Fanis is the ex-chairman of the Student Council of the Dormitory and knows all the "kitchen" from within:

"This is my last dorm, of course I'm going to miss the dorm and this atmosphere, but we need to move forward. This year's check-in went much faster than in previous years. I remember my first check-in, when I came to the university at 11 o'clock in the afternoon and left at 9 o'clock in the evening. Renata Zakirova, the new chairman of the student council of the dormitory, has fully coped with her duties, if before I was often asked, asked for advice, this time all by myself".
