At the end of October at one of the facilities of the Volga Academy, in the sports complex "Burevestnik", the fifth interregional tournament of the Premier group of the NFL, the hosts won three victories in three matches. The result allowed the team of the Volga region Academy to lead the tournament table of the championship.
Recall that the rivals of our students in this tournament were teams of Smolensk state Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism, North Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol) and Saratov state University. N. G. Chernyshevskogo.
In the first match, the "academicians" defeated Smolensk team (2:0). of all the contenders. Silver medalists NSFL SGU was defeated with the score 3:0, and stavropoltsev volzhane and is defeated with the score 6:0.

Convincing performance on the home field allowed the team of the Volga Academy of sports to be based on the first place in the standings of the NSFL and added confidence before the final of the all-Russian competition among the teams of the educational organization of higher education, which will be held in Krymsk from 16 to 21 November. Well, our team will hold the next match of the NSFL championship on March 22 against the team of the Crimean Federal University visiting the team from Simferopol.
