The Sabinsky district hosted another off-site sports and cultural event of the Department of adaptive physical culture and life safety with the participation of volunteer students and teachers-organizers. Teachers and students of the Volga region Academy in the framework of the project "Sportline", supported by the grant Fund of the President of Russia visited the Sabinsk gymnasium together with pupils of the local boarding school for children with disabilities. In an inclusive environment, children competed, performed tests of the TRP complex, played hockey on the floor and talked to each other. Three rousing flash mob from the students of the Academy ended the festival on a high note.
The event was attended by "special coach" - solar leysan. She became the first Zumba Fitness instructor with down syndrome in Russia and held a fun warm-up for the participants of the event. Leysan has a phenomenal memory for dance moves and grasps everything on the fly. And in dances improvises, using all their knowledge self-taught. Another highlight of the meeting was the performance with the song under a guitar coach in table tennis Sabinsky district Farhod Ismailov. Mixed teams consisting of pupils of a gymnasium, students of Academy and pupils of boarding school finished competitive part of the program with a cheerful relay race.
The Volga region Academy received many words of gratitude from the Deputy head of the Executive Committee of Sabinsky district for investment development and support of entrepreneurship Ilnur Kutdusov, who noted the professionalism of the University students and assessed the role of the project in attracting young people of the district to active physical culture and sports. The official expressed confidence that cooperation with the Academy of sports will continue. In response, the head of the Department and project Manager Larisa Parfenova thanked Arthur Bagmanov, a specialist of the Department of youth and sports, for his assistance in the organization and direct participation in the number of volunteers of the project.
It should be added that the project not only fulfills an important and necessary mission – it unites schoolchildren and builds new models of behavior in the educational environment for all categories of students and teachers, but also hones the practical professional skills of future specialists. This time, the number of volunteers of the project included students of the Department of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports, for whom the experience of communicating with children with disabilities was the first, and therefore unforgettable. As a fact, and for the children themselves, who have become a little bit happier and kinder, thanks to the project "Sportline".
