At the Russian badminton championship held in Ramenskoye near Moscow, Tatarstan national team, which includes eight students and undergraduates of the Volga region Academy and two of its graduates, won bronze medals in the team competition.
As a part of the team, the winners of the championship were master's student Evgenia Kosetskaya, second-year students Amir Hamidullin and Alina Romanko, fourth-year student Alexander Vasilkin, third-year student Mikhail Gelashvili, first-year students Anastasia Redkina, Ekaterina Kadochnikova and Maria Malygina. As well as the graduates Darya Dzhedzhula and Viktoria Vorobyova.
In the quarterfinals, Tatarstan outplayed the team of Nizhny Novgorod region. Victory points in the Treasury team brought Victoria Vorobyeva (together with Olga Ivashchenko), Anastasiya Redkina (women's singles) and Alexander'kin Victoria Vorobyova – in mixed doubles.
In the semifinals of the national team of the Republic gave the team the Moscow oblast with the score 3:1. The only point brought the first racket of Russia Eugene Kosetskaya in women's singles.
October 10 started a personal tournament, it will last until October 16.
